GDR Model Outlook
Overall Outlook (as of 6 Feb 2026): BULLISH TO NEUTRAL. The model has detected some improvement in the market over at the start of last week, but Thursday showed some real deterioration. A change in outlook is not off the table just yet…
Fundamentals Outlook (as of 24 Dec 2025): Fair Value/Rich. The model has adjusted valuations slightly upward following the release of new data. Going forward GDR Model positioning should tactically tilt a little more towards the long side, all else equal. Note that this is just a barometer to help guide longer-term decision-making rather than short-term market timing.
Long-Term Outlook (as of 6 Feb 2026): Bullish. The market closed the week strong and remains bullish.
Short-Term Outlook (as of 6 Feb 2026): Bullish. The market returned last Friday with remarkable strength.
Breadth Outlook (as of 6 Feb 2026): Bearish. Breadth has remained bearish for over a week now, and remains so through today. This is something to keep an eye on as it is starting to produce the kind of readings that tend to happen before a meaningful sell-off…
Volatility Outlook (as of 6 Feb 2026): Shaky. Volatility has deteriorated to shaky. At this point, along with the bearish breadth, this is definitely something to pay attention to.
GDR Model Position
The market showed enough strength for the GDR Model to re-open a meaningful long position, however if the more recent weakness persists the model will likely close it soon.
